Help John Ostrander See

As a reader, the fear of losing my sight is a huge one for me, so I was shocked to hear of John Ostrander’s glaucoma surgery. It’s expensive, and like so many creators, he needs help with the medical bills. Comix4Sight has been formed by Mike Gold and others. They will be holding a benefit auction at the Chicago Comic-Con in early August, or you can donate now at that first link.

It’s nice to see how widely-reported this charity effort has been (at least among sites that I follow regularly). I’m a huge fan of John Ostrander’s work (particularly his Grimjack and Spectre), so I was distressed to hear of his troubles and made a donation.
