THere are huge errors in the book. It is incorrect for the author to call delta y over delta x, relative error. Maybe the author can call it the error of y relative to x. But relative error is something else entirely. another huge problem in the book is when the author tries to show that you can integrate cos theta using just geometry. THis is false. the explanation makes no sense. i am still trying to figure out what the author was thinking. but i lost the book. Ok, i tried to read the book. THere are huge errors in the book. Business majors are required to take a class or two of Calculus for Business Students, or some similarly named class. I tutored my ex-wife through it. It seemed to be a bit watered down from the calculus I took for a science major. Maybe a college student could find the book useful. And perhaps that is the point of the book.
