I&#039;m especially pleased you liked the Ruth scenes; I have a lot of fondness for her as a character and, as you say, wanted to address what is an important/omnipresent teen issue (I remember eating lettuce and dry toast for breakfast every day when I was 15 in mistaken diet drama) without sounding like someone&#039;s mom. You know, &quot;the only reason they&#039;re teasing you, honey, is because they secretly like you&quot;. attn Mom: NO.

I&#039;m going to miss all these characters. I really wanted to write more of them (there are at least another 5 books in my head, with them) but sadly because of the Tokyopop situation this is unlikely to happen.]]></description>
