Out tomorrow on DVD and Blu-Ray is X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the latest X-Men movie.

Two-disc special edition List price: $35

Single-disc movie List price: $30

Blu-Ray List price: $40

The special edition discs include an origin featurette, two commentaries (one by Gavin Hood, director, the other by producers Lauren Shuler Donner and Ralph Winter), deleted and alternate scenes, an anti-smoking PSA, and “The Roots of Wolverine: A Conversation With X-Men Creators Stan Lee and Len Wein”.

It’s only been four months since the movie was in theaters — I’m not sure that’s enough time for the memories to fade into fondness instead of remembering the places where the film could have been improved. But I’m looking forward to seeing it again, once I can find a used two-disc copy for under $15.

Heh, I’d probably enjoy the Stan Lee & Len Wein thing. Not sure how much I really want to see it again though it certainly improved the second time when I was drunk. Not that I’m suggesting you should get me drunk and show me this movie, but I’m told it could be an entertaining experience ;).
