James Schee: I did not hear anything, but I just bought season 2 and disc 3 is definitely defective. Looks like there is an anomoly in the burned area in one spot and it won’t play. I am going to take it back and hopefully exchange for a non-defective copy.

Did you hear anything about a shipping or defect problem? I looked at every store withing about 60 mile radius and none of them had this set. One person at one store said they didn’t get any in their shipment, another at a different store said he thought they pulled them because of something wrong with them.

In the latest Entertainment Weekly, the producers express a desire to portray Sheldon as simply not interested in dating. He has no use for it (that’s my interpretation, not the exact words).

That would be interesting (Mark Waid) especially with his humor. Geoff Johns is another possibility with so many of his comics featured, plus he sort of looks like Sheldon.
