Hi Johanna,
Just got back from Baltimore, and was disappointed not to see you there! I know, I should have written ahead, and said, come visit me in Artist’s Alley, but I was prepping for the show until, well, the show started!

Hopefully I’ll be there next year, but looks like you won’t be there.

Maybe another con? I’m not sure which I’ll go to, but Baltimore was great, so I’ll definitely do some shows next year. People have told me Pittsburgh is a fun show, so it’s on my list.

As usual I will be attending HeroesCon (why not, I’ve attended them all!)
that’s the only comics con I go to, I go to other non-hobby related conventions, and will be going to Nashville TN and Rochester NY.

If I only make it to one, it will be SPX. I love that con, maybe because that was the one that opened my eyes a bit more to the idea of indie comics, even if I reading them prior to going.

My wife and I are going to try and be at SPACE in late April, which means Toronto is probably out. :(

Oddly enough, while I read a lot of superhero comics, I have no desire to go to a big comicon.

If anyone knows of any other small comics shows on the East Coast or maybe the eastern Northwest, I’d be interested.

Oh, Emerald City! Yes, that’s another great show — wrong coast for me, unfortunately, unless my company reinstates travel budgets (since they have an office in Seattle). But yes, definitely recommended. So many comic creators are located in the Seattle/ Portland area that they have wonderful talent available!
