KC’s Bookshelf: JLA: Year One

At the Westfield Comics blog, KC makes a case for how JLA: Year One, while being a continuity implant story, transcends that status to become a great story about young heroes.

Also, he pulls out one of those “only in comics” sentences:

We learn a lot about the historical legacy of the original Justice Society (since in this re-telling both teams exist in the same universe, planet, and timeline, which was not the case in the original tales).
