If you can make it past volume 1 of zone-00 the art and story improves drastically. Volume 2 is less crowded panel wise , character personalities improve and the story/plot improves.

Saddened to hear about Samurai Harem, as I saw the recent AIC anime adaptation, and it was a top-notch show. While it retained the standard ecchi elements of a harem anime, nothing felt inappropriate. It established the characters as real characters, not just T&A stand-ins.

Ah well. Must have had a really good adaptation team.

I’m not offended at all. My apologies for the confusion.

My comment wasn’t directed at you but at the English language in general. The fact that someone has created a specific sound effect for that bodily function is a little scary. Of course, having said that, and reflecting on the sound effects avaialable in Japanese. I shouldn’t be shocked at all. I can only image the sound effects available to Japanese writers for such noises.

I am going to discriminate here and say most of Tokyopop’s new releases seem to have the same reaction from me that these reviews had here. None of the new releases seem to be interesting to me and so I look to other publishers to deliver the goods.
