If Dogs has you interested, you might like to know that what you have here is actually the second volume. There is a Dogs Prelude v.0 where a little bit of background is given so you might want to go and read that one since it covers Naoto’s, and Mihai’s background, and introduces the main characters with a bit of their backgrounds too.
Also, Dogs v.2 is out ^_^
