Next Monday, January 18, which many but not all Americans have off for Martin Luther King Day, will be a Mythbusters marathon on the Discovery Channel. During the all-day marathon, they’ll be announcing a sweepstakes where the prize is a trip to the San Diego Con to meet Adam and Jamie. No details yet on how to enter, but it’s going to involve their Twitter feed. From the announcement:
The MythBusters Superfan Sweepstakes encourages viewers to follow the MYTHBUSTERS Twitter (twitter.com/mythbusters) and get inside scoop on the show while vying for the grand prize of a trip for two to Comic-Con® 2010 in San Diego, California to meet the MYTHBUSTERS, who have drawn standing room only crowds at the pop culture mecca for the past two years. Open to U.S. residents only, the sweepstakes will be promoted on-air on Monday, January 18 at 9AM ET/PT; sweepstakes full rules will be posted at discovery.com/mythbusters at 12:01 AM on Monday, January 18.
