You’re absolutely right. I shouldn’t be thinking so cynically based on the sparse info in the press release. Wait and see is the thing to do.

Perhaps. But I tried to list a range of options that included more and less involvement. We just don’t know, is the problem.

I’m trying not to be cynical, but I can’t help but think that his “presenting” means that Stan Lee would be as involved with these as Gene Roddenberry, Neil Gaiman, Leonard Nimoy, et al. were in the Tekno Comics comics that bore their names in the late 1990s…

According to Kirby and Ditko, that’s pretty much all he ever did anyway.
