Ponyo was an excellent movie. When I first saw the cover I was mislead into thinking that it would be a children's movie; and it was, but so very well done that it is really for all audiences.

The illustrations were really encapsulating; felt within the movie. I am already a fan of Miyazaki but this did a great job of making the environment a reflection of the emotions of the characters.

The version I saw was the original Japanese with English subtitles. I never knew that Neeson was the dad and Cyrus was the girl; I'm glad I didn't watch that one.
