Yeah, I caught the Christmas shorts last year. Attendance was sparse but it was fun; the live performance felt pleasantly spontaneous. Lots of laughs and a wonderfully weird selection -- the difference between something like that and House on Haunted Hill is how obscure and unpredictable the shorts were; it really brought back the "Where do they FIND this stuff?" feel of the show. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it; I'm going to try and get to one myself (though I missed the Reefer Madness one a month or two back).

The online code was for a free download of one of the shorts and a wallpaper.

I also got to catch Cinematic Titanic (Joel's group) live last year. That was better, but of course that's what you'd expect from a live performance versus a live broadcast. Highly recommended if it comes to your town -- I haven't seen any performances listed for my area this tour, though.

I've seen the two previous Rifftrax shows (Christmas Shorts & Reefer Madness) and I'd like to add that if anyone wants to spend two hours where you laugh so hard that your face hurts, the don't miss this show!

Seriously, I see a lot of movies every year in the theater (about 50-60 movies a year) and Hollywood can't come close to delivering a comedy that will make you laugh as much as any of these Rifftrax shows. And make sure you show up at the theater early, because the jokes begin (via screen slides) well before the show starts.
