Gargoyles is definitely worth tracking down on DVD. I don’t think all the seasons are available, but at least the first (and best) season is.

I really enjoyed this, I rented it from Blockbuster, the extras were neat especially seeing TBB&TB episode which I hadn’t seen before.

I also just enjoyed the main feature, as Billy and his world can be for such fun and intriguing stories. (oddly this and the Jeff Smith Shazam mini were more fun than anything DC has ever done with the characters) I think I know the surprise you mention, and it was a surprise that updated an ld concept really well.

I like Clark’s message about the ease of evil and hardness of good. Something a lot of people should listen to, some who write for the big 2 comics.

Looking forward to it.

I love Weisman — I missed Gargoyles during its original run and only recently got into it, but it’s great stuff. And I loved Spectacular Spider-Man. He also wrote the best episode of The Batman, and the also-excellent Flash episode of TB&TB.
