Why not translate MARY LA NOIRE (writer: Rodolph), about a dashing, fearless red-headed female pirate!  Who kidnaps a Byronic writer of romantic novels! And is adored by all her crew, especially her rough-hewn first mate!  And who even when she and the writer fall in love, still swings a lethal cutlass!  All strikingly illustrated by the terrific female artist Magnin...  Some imagination, please, people!  Or at least a wider reading list.]]></description>
