Which of the Fantastic Four Will Die?

KC’s latest Westfield column attempts to answer the question of which Fantastic Four member will die. He examines the title’s history, praises the current creative team of Jonathan Hickman and Steve Epting, considers death as a publishing stunt, and looks at reasons for and against each member’s demise. It’s a good column, because I learned things and want to read the comic now.

Interesting…. I guess I really am out of the loop as I hadn’t heard of this coming up in FF. I have heard good things about Hickman’s run though. Maybe I’ll pick up a trade… any lout right now?
(Marvel seems better than DC at getting trades out, as I’m waiting on the Levitz LSH run, and it won’t have its first collection until April! ugh)

Hickman’s FF is a great book. Well worth picking up. He’s got a real feel for the characters and their voices. Noteworthy is that Hickman’s children really do sound like children. He’s made Val and Franklin the most interesting characters in the book.

I agree, Jim. That’s one of my complaints about the series, actually — I want much more of the kids and their friends, not so much of the title characters! :)
James, I don’t know about FF collections. Maybe a reader can help?

Cool thanks. I’m actually putting together an order from Amazon (I got a gift card for Christmas) and I guess I’ll add the first trade they have there. Unless there’s a better place to start?
Anyone know if the FF Dark Reign trade by same writer is a must have? I’ve avoided every single crossover tie in story (no matter publisher or company) for 3 years now so wonder if I can skip that too.:)
