Honestly its a thing that had outlived its usefulness long ago. There are things happening in both DC and Marvel books that make the GL reference seem tame these days. At least it was supposed to be shocking and mortifying, now the gruesome deaths are supposed to be &quot;cool.&quot;

I don&#039;t think its anything that&#039;ll go back in the bag either unfortunately. The likelihood of getting another Wertham style indictment in comics is little as well. Not they they should, but those type of things go after video games now.

Who have taken an odd approach to it, with one company promoting a game with the tag line &quot;your mom is going to hate this game.&quot;]]></description>
