Viz Confirms Inubaka on Hiatus

As I feared when I wrote about the next Inubaka volume disappearing from online sales outlets, the series is on hiatus. I received the following statement from a PR person:

INUBAKA is currently on hiatus and no new vols. are scheduled for the immediate future.

I appreciate them making a statement, although I do wish the news had been better.

  1. wow, this is a HUGE disappointment to me, though I wish they stated their reasoning behind the hiatus. If only the released vol 18 first, then be put it on hiatus. Well all there now is to wait, and wish that it’s on hiatus and not worse D: I really love this book series!

    Off-topic, but does anyone know if a West Highland White Terrier or a Bichon Frise shows up over the course of the series?

  3. I don’t recall seeing either of those in a story, but there might have been a pinup or something I’m not recalling.

  4. I really want to see this series through to the end. Maybe they’ll have some digitally available content?

  8. This really sucks especially for those of us who buy all the volumes and now we have an incomplete series.
