Great review. I love this show. Punch and Jewelee were old Charlton era villains for Ditko’s Captain Atom. That’s one of the things I love about this show, how the creators dig up these obscure characters. And yes, Music Meister. If you don’t love that episode, then you have no soul. I’d also mention the Plastic Man/Kite Man episode (I think that’s Season 1/pt 2). That was hilarious!

Is “Super Batman of Planet X” a season two episode? That was one of my favorite Batman things ever. This super-wacky episode woulda been great even without the shout-outs to the Fleischer Bros. cartoons and the WB Superman and Batman cartoon series, but having that stuff in it just took it over the top for me.

It’s impossible not to love a comic that brings Super-Hip back after 35 years! Which also opens the door for Pat Boone to return as Batman’s team-up partner when the Music Meister returns.

And any series that features the Justice Society, including the Golden Age Hourman, well… that’s money well spent!

One of my all time favorite shows. I also recommend the “All New Batman The Brave and the Bold” comic book. The recent issue where Batman marries Wonder Woman is a must have comic for anyone that likes things that are good. I also also recommend the video game. It’s too easy to beat for the hard core gamer but it is a lot of fun for kids and grown up kids like me.

I picked up Part 1 for my birthday, and just adore it. Part 2 just arrived yesterday. One of my favorite bits so far is the exchange:
