Baltimore Time Travel Anthology Release Party on Friday, May 27

Baltimore Comic and Zine Release Party

Going to be in Baltimore tomorrow night? Looking for something to do? How about visiting Atomic Books for the Release Party for the Baltimore Time Travel Anthology and Snobaltimore: A Guide to Baltimore Area Snoball Stands. It’s Friday, May 27, at 7 PM at the bookstore at 3620 Falls Road, Baltimore, Maryland. I’m told attendees will witness actual time travel as well as other performances, and one lucky person will win a free multi-signed copy of BTTA.

Edited by Melody Often, the 88-page anthology contains time travel stories by local cartoonists, including Rebecca Mock, Chelsea Carr, Tim Yingling, Michael Bracco, Monica Gallagher, and many more. My favorite piece was Jonathan Eaton’s “Hitler Kitty”, which posits a very different end to World War II if only an adorable cat had been involved. Josh Van Horne also attempts a “Choose Your Own Adventure” comic which made me laugh, although it was limited by the space available.
