Whenever I see a kid with a lemonade stand giving away free samples, I always lean on the edge of their table, sipping on the cup I got for them, and give them the following advice;

&quot;Yah know kid, this is damned fine lemonade. I&#039;d love to buy a full cup from you, but I can&#039;t. See yah made it too easy for me to get to your product and I lost interest. All I had to do is just stop here and get it. What are you, dumb?

Customers like to do extra work for simple things. It makes them feel like they&#039;re earning their purchase. Like when we were cavemen hunting. 

You want the customers? Put a moat around your free samples and make them swim to it.&quot;

They&#039;re always crying when I leave. I&#039;m sure it&#039;s in gratitude.]]></description>
