A wonderful review. I want to add that it is important for all fans of Simon and Kirby as well as anyone interested in the work of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, to know that Titan Books is the offically *authorized" publisher of the Simon and Kirby library--authorized by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby Estate. With Titan Books you are getting the real material, overseen and approved by the creators.

I know several of the team at Titan Books who looked after this book, and you can really see their love for Joe Simon in this book as well. It's a great book--for all the reasons you mention. Plus the photo inserts are great. (There's one shot in particular I'm fond of, but that's just me; they're all pretty awesome.)
