I know several of the team at Titan Books who looked after this book, and you can really see their love for Joe Simon in this book as well. It’s a great book–for all the reasons you mention. Plus the photo inserts are great. (There’s one shot in particular I’m fond of, but that’s just me; they’re all pretty awesome.)
