Its so weird for me with C&A, as I love the three leads and even though I don't like westerns in general I would have seen the 3 of them in a western. The aliens part from previews andm such just seemed lame to me, so I have no intention of seeing it in theaters.

GL, I'll admit my bias here as he's one of my favorite comic characters, but I'd do the movie with a focus on Kyle Rayner. Have 20 something normal guy come out of a bar and a harried little blue alien says "you'll have to do" tosses him the ring and vanishes. Rest of the movie is Kyle figuring out what the hell is going on. I'd even have the ring powerless for large portions of the movie (until Kyle figures out how to charge it) and go from there.

It'd be a way to do a reboot that breaks from the poor reception the first movie got. You'd be able to slowly introduce the mythos instead of huge plot dumps the first had. Plus with ring powerless for much of it, save on budget of CGI.

I saw Cap over the weekend, and liked it well enough as well. My 20 something nephew went with me and he (as someone who has never read a comic) liked it but said it was slow at the start and didn't like the last part as it'd been better to have the tragic end of Cap frozen. He also said he wishes Marvel would stop putting Samuel L Jackson in every damn movie.
