It was the perfect, scene-by-scene translation that I’d always known was possible, but hadn’t seen until now – right down to the amount of time allotted to each individual issue in the original miniseries.

Can’t recommend it enough.

I’ve got some college buddies visiting in a few weeks; we’ve sort of made it a tradition to watch the latest DCU release when they come to town. (We were all born in the early 1980′s, grew up watching Batman: TAS, and then spent Saturday nights in the dorms watching Justice League and Teen Titans.) Looks like this’ll fit the bill nicely — if it’s available via Netflix Streaming or the local Redbox, anyway.
