Les Daniels, author of a number of notable books on comic history, passed away earlier this month. KC’s latest Westfield column remembers Daniels’ Comix: A History of Comic Books in America as the “first book about comic book history that [KC] ever bought”. KC also looks at some of Daniels’ other works and what other sources were available for reading about comics during the 70s.
