Ever Feel Like a Dinosaur?

It’s almost the end of another year, and as is so typical of these times, I look back and think about years past. The older I get, sometimes, the older I feel. I was email chatting with Rob Walton (the talented cartoonist and animator behind Ragmop) about some of the recent changes in the comic industry, especially those involving restarts and reboots. I said something about “us dinosaurs have to stick together”, and in return, I got this charming cartoon featuring Rob’s dino characters. Love the Mac and the little arms on the big guy! Yep, frequently. At least it’s not as bad as when I was in graduate school–by the time I defended and graduated I was approaching 30 and feeling like I had less and less in common with the 18-year-olds coming in each year.

But grad school is the best way possible to put off adulthood! Isn’t it?

Or another diploma run to your local community college/trade school?
