The story, voice acting and music was awesome. after you get over the movements of the characters, it is like reading a comic book, and watching a full fledged movie at the same time. the art is fantastic, the characters are represented very well, and I can see comic books being collected in this manner of media, as I would strive to collect all of these. The story is adult (well, adult enough, as one who grew up on comic books, I am pretty desensitized)and intelligent, and if it wasnt for all of these freaking movie reboots (which are nice) I wouldnt be confused as to which angle the movie was coming from, character-wise. I'm not trying to give anything away (but god i want to), so its hard to explain because everyone is following the main cannon, so for Joss to take it back to the fans (the collectors)I kind of had to dig into my memory banks. Maybe thats what all of this rebooting is about. Tightening up the universe? NAAAaaaaah.

Money. But hey, it looks like they finally got it right with Avengers.

Bottome line:

If you like top notch stories, this will make you fall in love again. the art makes the vision unhindered, because they dont have to worry about an effects budget, just Voice actors, and thats MONEY WELL SPENT. it was pretty awesome. So I will sum it up in a few numbers for those who dont like to read;

CONCEPT- 10

AUDIO- 10
VIDEO/ART- 10
STORY- 9.5 ( needs a little back history instead of jumping right in, which works if you follow the xmen/mutant universe, then it would be perfect, but the story here is GREAT.)

Fanboy score: 10

AVERAGE CONSUMER SCORE: 8 (once they get past the animatic movements,and wrap their heads around the Jumping into the fray, it becomes a cool suspense flick with a nice bit of action.)

GIRLFRIEND SCORE: 7. they will love the dialogue and adult plotline and will get them into the universe some, but be prepared to answer a lot of "whos this, that, and why, and what is genosha, and shi'ar what and..." AARRGGGHHHH!!!
