Does it have to be strictly 80′s? Gary Numan’s album, “Tubeway Army” from 1978 has WAY more in common with the 80′s than the 70′s. Just comparing the songs, “Listen to the Sirens” to ONJ’s, “Xanadu” (Which I love the album by the way, from 1980)makes me laugh. But a close second would have to be the Ramones, “Rock ‘N’ Roll High School” from 1980.
