I’d be surprised if you don’t like the episodes, or at least her portrayal. Given that this is a show about teens, and adding yet another mentor would be a bit much. I can understand why they added her, as she’s really fun. The only other options I could think of is Raven, but she’s too dour. Or they could have created one, but I think we’re at a point now where creators don’t like giving creations over. (it’s something I always wonder at when the chorus sas “we want something new!” as there’s little reason to bring something new to DC or Marvel)

Anyway, she may be younger but I don’t know that I’d exactly call her inexperienced with her powers. Her and another character really bring the series a step closer to possibly being something special here.

Sigh, I like more female characters, but I dislike making adult women less experienced in the DCU. I’ll have to keep an eye out for those Zatanna episodes, thanks.

I like seeing Black Canary in Young Justice. It means that Superboy is going to be learning a lesson and growing up a bit more.

Johanna, not in YJ, she appears in a couple of upcoming eps you havnt seen yet as a teen. (Zatarra is a JL member, it is a great depiction of Zatanna tho) BC appears in another ep, counseling the team after the events of another ep.

I haven’t seen Black Canary in the show for a while, but I am behind on episodes, since I only watch on DVD. Ed, I have to disagree on Zatanna — she’s an adult, not a teen.

The guys act like idiots? Ah, Robin and Aqualad for the counter example. Both are smart and show it. Kid Flash is a combination of genius and hormones, so middle ground there.

Ms. Martian is learning to live among humans so lets cut her some slack. She is developing as a character nicely. Artemis also starts off slow but is coming into her own. Hoping Zatanna joins the team.

Not a fan of this one. I don’t like how the characters are portrayed. The guys act like idiots, Superboy is all “Rawr! I’m angry and full of angst!!”, the girls are just bland. Whatever happened to Black Canary? Is she still featured regularly as the team “Counciler/trainer” or whatever she was supposed to be or did they get rid of that bit?

I have been surprised at how much I enjoy this show now, then I did back when it first started. The episodes after these continue to improve, bringing in new cast members who add new things too.

I wish they’d put more episodes on in a row though. Seems like just as they hit a nice groove, the new episodes stop and it is then months before new ones start again. Losing a lot of momentum, as I have to try and remember the show.
