Wizzywig: I Love This Cover!

Wizzywig cover

Heidi posted this amusingly retro cover for the upcoming Wizzywig graphic novel. Created by Ed Piskor, it will be published by Top Shelf in July.

That design really takes me back to the era Piskor is covering. I love the rainbow treatment of the publisher logo and spine; that’s really the finishing touch. Isn’t it cool how great design becomes iconic?

You can find previews of the work at the two links above. I’ve been impressed how much the book has improved as Piskor continues working on it, from self-published comic to webcomic to graphic novel.
