I should note that I had a minor quibble about the ending, but to speak about it further at this time would be too spoiler-y. Overall, I did indeed enjoy the movie. It helped that I like Pauley Perrette and thought her voice was well-suited for Lois Lane. Nice Lois & Clark moments in the movie BTW.

I haven’t read the comic, but I just saw the movie Friday at WonderCon. I thought they did a good job of showing the Elite’s point of view and why many people might agree with it. I loved Robin Atkin Downes performance (he was a great panelist BTW); it’s fun hearing a character in a DC cartoon say things like “Shut your gob!” (albeit in an intentionally* mild Manchester accent).

*In the panel, Downes said that he wanted American audiences to understand what the character was saying.

And that’s what Kelly did in the comic this is based on.
