I never did get into the Tarzan series but love all the Carter books because they helped bring about all of the modern science fiction. Without Burroughs, Wells, and a few others, we would never have Star Trek, Doctor Who, Babylon 5, Farscape, and all the other nerdy shows (and books!) that we enjoy now.]]></description>
