Athena Voltaire Reprinted by Dark Horse

Athena Voltaire promotional art

Congratulations to Steve Bryant, who’s been working on his pulp heroine Athena Voltaire for 10 years now. She began as a webcomic in 2002, and in print, the stories went through two publishers before now landing at Dark Horse. (I’ve reviewed a previous collection.)

It’s a co-publishing deal with Sequential Pulp Comics, in which they plan to release

an omnibus edition containing remastered versions of the previously published Athena Voltaire material followed by new adventures, including two graphic novels and an illustrated prose anthology.

I’ve asked when the first book is due out; I’ll report back when I get an answer.
