TCAF Teen Boat Comic Features Wonderful Cameos

To promote this year’s Toronto Comics Art Festival, John Green and Dave Roman created a short original story featuring their character Teen Boat! (whose graphic novel debuts at the show). The final panel delighted me, since it was full of terrific cameos. The final page has an even better one that I’m not spoiling for you here.
I recognize Babymouse and that guinea pig PI, plus characters by Raina Telgemeier (Smile) and Faith Erin Hicks (with her ghost) and Vera Brosgol (with her ghost), an Astronaut Academy kid and Jellaby and Bone… but who else? I feel like I should know the big-nosed kid in green in front, but it’s not coming to me. Annotations! I need annotations!
Someday, I will make it to TCAF to see this kind of experience in person, but not this year, sadly.

The kid in the front is from Frank Cammuso “knights of the lunch table” series. I believe the kid in the orange is from Dave Roman’s book “Astronaut Academy” the girl sitting next to Raina is Koko from “koko be good” by Jen Wang (at least I think it’s Koko.) The pink bunny at the back and the girl sitting next to her are from Kazu’s Amulet series. And that’s all I recognize at the moment.

That’s right, I read Cammuso’s comic, that’s why he looked familiar. Thanks for the help!

The two fellows to the far left in back look like the main characters from Skull-Kickers.

The two people to the left of Jellaby are the organizers.
