It was a little campier, but a lot more fun, and closer to the “canon” of the comic books.
The casting was great with Carter, Debra Winger, and Lyle Waggoner visually-perfect in costume. Carter was a little stiff, but she got better as she went along.
And I wish Carolyn Jones had been Hippolyta from the beginning…
They never addressed who Steve Trevor “Jr’s” mother was in the later eps (or even do a scene with an aged Trevor Senior and Diana Prince after her return to Man’s World)

If/when a Wonder Woman feature film ever gets green-lighted, Carter is THE perfect choice as Hippolyta (with a cameo by Winger as an Amazon and Waggoner as a crotchety General or Congressman…)

Love the Tim O’Connor two parter as well. Another place to look for him is an old Fugitive episode where he plays a conflicted war veteran.
