That’s interesting. I’ve only seen him in horror movies (“Dracula,” “The Black Cat,” and “The Mummy”), so it would be interesting to branch out a little. The only one of these I’ve seen before is “Jewel Robbery,” which I loved. It’s such a glossy little souffle, and William Powell and Kay Fwancis (aw, but I love her) had great chemistry. And you’re right about that gown. Wow. It’s very impressive!

Thanks for pointing this set out. Now that’s it’s been moved to Warner Archives, I might have missed it entirely.
