Researchers at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine have created a comic in order to educate medical staff and emergency workers about the benefits of tranexamic acid (TXA). The drug apparently helps with bleeding if administered to trauma patients within three hours of injury. To get out the message in an easy-to-read format, they chose the illustrated story, about emergency room staff dealing with the victims of an explosion and a stabbing.
You can read the comic online or download a PDF from that link; it’s illustrated by Emma Vieceli based on information from Dr. Ian Roberts.
