Because it kind of sounds like they make a story written by a woman based heavily on an aunt who helped her survive as a child…and managed to turn it into a story about how men made a movie about a man (who was frankly not as important to the book series children as Disney made him).

Dismissing Disney’s treatment of her (and disregard for the final contract) as okay because she was ‘prim’? Creepy.
