* DC comics he likes, Batman: Li’l Gotham and Batman ’66

* Why can’t DC movies be as good as Marvel’s? Will this summer’s Man of Steel follow or break the pattern?

Yeah it seems like the DC movies of recent years are ashamed to be superhero movies. They try to make them mythology or some grandiose thing, instad of just a fun superhero tale like Marvel has.

I’m hopeful for Man of Steel, the cast seems so great and the story sounds like it could have some big time action in it. I hope they show more of that, less of the “big idea” stuff in upcoming previews. (the new viral vide that came out tonight with Zod is a start)
