Iron Man Coming to DVD September 24 With Agent Carter Marvel One-Shot

Iron Man 3 will be coming to home video on September 24, with a variety of package options. There’s the Blu-ray combo pack, with a DVD and a list price of $40. For $5 more, you can get the same pack with digital copy. For $5 over that, add the 3-D Blu-ray (list price $50). Or for $30, there’s the simple DVD and digital copy.

Bonus features are going to include a commentary with director/co-writer Shane Black and co-writer Drew Pearce, a gag reel, deleted and extended scenes, a close-up look at the stunt team for “Deconstructing the Scene: Attack on Air Force One”, “Iron Man 3 Unmasked” (described as “Join cast and crew for a crash course in epic movie-making, Marvel style”), and a behind-the-scenes look at the next Marvel movie, Thor: The Dark World. Plus, “Agent Carter”, an original “Marvel One-Shot” short film starring Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, as seen in Captain America: The First Avenger. It’s described as

Picking up where the events of Captain America: The First Avenger left off, “Agent Carter” tracks British operative Peggy Carter as she joins the nascent S.H.I.E.L.D. organization. As she searches for the enigmatic “Zodiac” key, Agent Carter also battles her sexist, bureaucratic boss, Agent Flynn (Bradley Whitford), who thinks women have no place in the secret-agent business.

Getting back to Iron Man 3, the only bonuses on the DVD are the Thor promo and the Air Force One featurette. By the way, digital versions of the movie will be available for purchase three weeks early, on September 3.
