Eastsiders, Gay Comedy Series, Launches Webcomic
March 24, 2014

I’m not familiar with EastSiders, which can be watched online. I’m told it’s “a dark comedy about a gay couple dealing with the aftermath of infidelity in Silver Lake, CA.” To continue beyond the end of the first season, series creator Kit Williamson is writing a tie-in webcomic picking up from the final scene, updating every Monday and Thursday starting March 27. He said, “I have always loved comic books and graphic novels, and I am so excited to continue this story in a new medium. I’ve already written the second season of EastSiders and the comic will serve as both a stand-alone story and a bridge connecting the two seasons.”

So why am I talking about it if I don’t watch the show? Because the art is by Aman Chaudhary, and it’s gorgeous. Just check out these preview images:

Thanks for the introduction to both the tv show and the comic! I’m going to check out the show because of Aman’s work, and definitely read the comic, too.
