Second Half of Beware the Batman Now Available to Pre-Order

Beware the Batman: Dark Justice on Blu-ray

Beware the Batman, the Cartoon Network CGI animated show that Warner will be burning off next month, has already had half its season collected on Blu-ray as a Warner Archive exclusive.

Looks like they’re following a similar plan with the rest of the show. Beware the Batman: Dark Justice will collect Season 1, Part 2 — the final 13 episodes — for $19.95 on Blu-ray. It’s now available for pre-order, with a planned release date of September 30.

There’s also a DVD that can be ordered from Amazon. They’re quoting a list price of $19.97 with a 10% discount (at the time of this writing).

Here’s the official description:

Beware The Batman: Dark Justice pits Batman, Alfred, and swordstress Katana against the underworld likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad, and Magpie. Over the final 13 episodes, the rogues gallery expands with appearances by Killer Croc, Man-Bat, Deathstroke, and more.

Swordstress? I think that’s worse than “aviatrix” in terms of feminized nouns.

I really, really like this show. Bummed that it never found an audience.
