Ms. Marvel Wants Everyone to Vote… on November 30

Ms. Marvel #13

This is a terrific idea with really bad timing.

The next issue of Ms. Marvel, #13, features a sequence, shown here, where Ms. Marvel tries to get everyone to vote. That’s terrific, and a great choice for the most successful of Marvel’s new generation superheroes. Except… the issue will go on sale on November 30. Election Day is November 8. Oops.

The story is written by G. Willow Wilson, art is by Marta Andolfo, and cover by Joelle Jones. Marvel is promoting it today because the final order cut-off date is Monday, November 7, and in that mailing, they still don’t know (or won’t say) who’s doing the “Divided We Stand” variant cover.

Still, even if the comic won’t be ready until the end of the month, I support the message: “Marvel wants to remind everyone that they have one of the greatest powers there is – the ability to vote!”
