Young Justice Gets Third Season Due to Fan Support

Earlier this year, there was a movement to demonstrate continued interest in Young Justice, the Cartoon Network animated series featuring adolescent DC superheroes that ran from 2010-2013. (It was called Young Justice: Invasion in the second season, which aged up the characters a bit.)
Now comes the good news! Warner Bros. Animation has announced that they will be producing a third season. No information on where or when the new episodes will air, but original showrunners Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman will return. I guess that means there’s no reason, in this new era of TV everywhere, to ever give up hope on a beloved show. (So where’s my Remington Steele: The Next Generation?)
Warner Bros. Animation President Sam Register said, “The affection that fans have had for Young Justice, and their rallying cry for more episodes, has always resonated with us. We are excited to bring the show back for this loyal fanbase and to provide an opportunity for new viewers to discover this excellent series.”

This is great news. Hoping they put it somewhere that doesn’t have CN’s “girls have to be one step behind the boys” rule.

Come to think of it, where is your RS:TNG? I mean, CW or USA should be all over that.
