A New Science Fiction TV Network Giveaway
I didn’t realize that there was a science fiction TV network available for free. I quit watching SyFy when I gave up cable, but now there’s COMET TV, “dedicated to sci-fi entertainment offering popular favorites, cult classics, and undiscovered gems”. Use the link to find out where they’re available in your area; mine has them both over-the-air and through cable.
Right now, they’re showing Stargate: Atlantis, The Outer Limits, Dead Like Me, and the classic Mystery Science Theater 3000, among other shows. (They’re airing the Wild World of Bat Woman episode on the 29th!)
For films, this month they’re featuring the Rollerball remake with Chris Klein and LL Cool J next weekend; Mad Max; and Futureworld, the Westworld sequel.
They’re also giving away a prize pack featuring a spaceman USB light, rock candy, and Pop Rocks!
To enter to win this contest, leave a comment below telling me whether you’ll try the network. A winner will be picked randomly from all entries on Friday, February 27.
U.S. addresses only, please, and no PO boxes. Winners will be emailed to confirm address. If email is not answered within 24 hours or a valid email address is not provided, a replacement winner will be selected. Your email won’t be used for any other purpose.
COMET TV is providing this giveaway and have the following disclaimer. Each household is only eligible to win ONE (1) COMET Space Man Landing Prize Pack via blog reviews and giveaways. Only one entrant per mailing address per giveaway. If you have won the same prize on another blog, you will not be eligible to win it again. Winner is subject to eligibility verification.
Channel 50.3 in my neck of the woods. There are certainly a lot of odd little things hiding in those digital cracks between the “real” channels. But I guess they are turning a profit for somebody.
Yes! Absolutely! I think it’s terrific that COMET TV offers a great selection of classic sci-fi movies and shows for fans to enjoy for free!
Yes, we’ll definitely check it out.
Thanks for entering the contest. A winner has been selected and emailed.
