Drawn & Quarterly Releasing Another Tom Gauld Collection

I really enjoyed reading You’re All Just Jealous of My Jetpack, a collection of Tom Gauld’s insightful, clever comic strips. I’m impressed by how creative his ideas are, expressed in deceptively simple fashion but evoking a wide range of references, from classic literature to modern online culture.
Now comes word from Drawn & Quarterly that they will be releasing a followup in October called Baking With Kafka.
This 160-page color hardcover will list at $19.95 and collect more of Gauld’s Guardian newspaper strips. If you like British humor, this is a must-read, and if you’re like me, you’ll even feel smarter afterwards.
Also from Gauld, in September, D&Q will release his 2012 graphic novel Goliath in a smaller-sized paperback.
Update: You can now order Baking With Kafka from your local comic shop with Diamond code AUG17 1647, although if you preorder from Amazon, you’ll get it almost a month earlier (October 3 vs 25 due dates).
