Marvel Water Bottles From Nalgene

Now that we’re starting to be able to think about being outdoors again, you may want to consider a water bottle to take with you on activities. Nalgene Outdoor has created an entire line featuring many favorite Marvel superheroes: Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Hulk, Black Widow, and the Avengers.

They gave me one of the 32-ounce wide-mouth Black Widow bottles to evaluate, and I took it with me on my road trip to visit family over the winter holidays. (Yes, I’m late writing about it.)

That wasn’t the best use. It was too big around for the car cup holder, so it wound up rolling around on the floor. On the plus side, the screw-on cap connected with a strap was secure, so it never spilled, and the bottle was solid, so I didn’t worry about it accidentally getting stepped on. The opening is nice and big to load ice cubes, but the bottle was too tall for me to able to use my refrigerator door ice dispenser. I did like that the products are all BPA-free and able to be washed in the dishwasher.

Just be more awake than I am when you use them — it was early enough when we were setting out that I first mistook the swing line element of the graphic on the Black Widow bottle for a crack!

These would be good choices to carry water for a pet on a trip, or anywhere else where the big mouth allows you to pour liquids quickly. They’re planning more graphic choices later this year.
