Studio Ghibli Fest to Show 6 Anime Classics in Theaters

GKIDS, an animated feature distributor, and Fathom Events, which arranges special cinema programming, have announced Studio Ghibli Fest. Starting in June, one classic anime film from the studio will be shown once a month. The Sunday shows are dubbed, shown at 12:55 PM local time, while the Monday airings are subtitled and running at 7 PM local time. Here’s the schedule.
My Neighbor Totoro – June 25 and 26
Kiki’s Delivery Service – July 23 and 24
Castle in the Sky – August 27 and 28
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind – September 24 and 25
Spirited Away – October 29 and 30
Howl’s Moving Castle – November 26 and 27
You can purchase tickets through local participating theaters or at the Fathom Events website. Both Cinemark and Regal Entertainment Group theaters have $60 series pass opportunities and exclusive gifts.
