Next Lumberjanes Novel Now Available for Preorder

When the Lumberjanes young adult novel series was announced, they made clear that they were planning to put out four books. The first, Lumberjanes: Unicorn Power!, came out last month. (I thought, after a slow start, it was pretty good at capturing the appeal of the comic.)

Now Amazon has a listing for the second. Lumberjanes: The Moon Is Up is due out May 8, 2018, and here’s the description:

As the camp gears up for the big Galaxy Wars competition, Jo and the gang get some help from an unexpected visitor — a Moon Pirate! Book Two will focus on Jo, the ingenious inventor of the group who also happens to be trans.

As with the first, it’s written by Mariko Tamaki with cover and illustrations by Brooklyn Allen, co-creator of the Lumberjanes.
