Lego DC Super Heroes Movies Continue With the Flash

Continuing the line of home video animated movies featuring Lego DC Super Heroes from Warner Bros. Animation, they have announced Lego DC Super Heroes: The Flash, coming this spring. Here’s the description:

Reverse-Flash (Dwight Schultz) manipulates the Speed Force to put the Flash (James Arnold Taylor) into a time loop that forces him to relive the same day over and over again — with progressively disastrous results, including losing his powers and being fired by the Justice League. The Flash must find a way to restore time to its original path and finally apprehend his worst enemy before all is lost for The Flash … and the world!

They’re also promising new character appearances, including the Atom (Eric Bauza), Krypto the Super-Dog, Ace the Bat-Hound, Storm (Aquaman’s seahorse), and B’dg, “a squirrel-esque Green Lantern”. Love the animal superheroes!

Plus, there’s music! An original song, “It’s Magic” (written by Tim Kelly and Jeremy Adams) is “performed with enthusiastic zest by the trio of the Flash, Zatanna (Kate Micucci), and Doctor Fate (Kevin Michael Richardson).”

Also appearing in the 78-minute movie are Batman (Troy Baker), Superman (Nolan North), Wonder Woman, Lois Lane (both Grey Griffin), Plastic Man (Tom Kenny), Firestorm (Phil LaMarr), Cyborg (Khary Payton), and Aquaman (Dee Bradley Baker). Here’s the trailer:

The Blu-ray Combo Pack (list price $24.98) and DVD edition ($19.98) will be available on March 13, 2018. The digital release is a month earlier, on February 13.
